WRITER-DIRECTOR EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Monica C. Moses, MSW, is a social worker, cultural scholar, and storyteller whose work bridges advocacy, healing, and creative expression. She holds a graduate degree in Social Work with a minor in Film Studies and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Cultural Studies. Her work is rooted in the belief that storytelling is both a healing practice and a catalyst for social change.

With professional experience as a community advocate addressing civic injustice alongside local policymakers, and as a medical social worker supporting individuals and families through critical life transitions, Monica brings a deeply human, trauma-informed lens to all of her work. Through True Flow storytelling, she uses film, theater, and narrative practice to illuminate racial disparities, collective trauma, and the emotional legacies carried within marginalized communities.

Monica has written feature-length films, short films, and docudramas that center lived experience, ancestral memory, and truth-telling as pathways toward awareness, restoration, and transformation. Actively involved in every stage of her creative process, she continues to integrate advocacy, scholarship, and storytelling to support individual and collective healing.
